Karen has been practicing yoga on and off for 15 years and consistently for 7 years. Her commitment to the practice was sealed after a trip to India 7 years ago when an intense yoga practice made a profound difference to her life.
Karen sees how important this ancient practice is in realising our fullest potential and for an overall sense of well-being. Considering we spend a lot of time sitting in chairs at desks, yoga is highly valuable for keeping the body open and the joints supple and flexible.
Karen recently undertook her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course in India, training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga.
She offers both Ashtanga Classes and Hatha/Vinyasa Flow style classes.
In Vinyasa Flow we move through a sequence of poses linking movement with breath.
This practice can challenge you depending on how you want to participate. I give modifications for the more challenging poses so you can always take the easier option or rest if you need to. Each session will have a different focus.
This practice aims to leave you energised, empowered and ready for the day.
